Come join me for a discussion on how brain science can help us understand our children’s needs better.
This talk will provide a simple description of the brain/body process involved in dealing with life experience, and how children are often ill-equipped to manage the expectations and stressors of their environment. As parents and educators, we can get a better sense of what’s happening for our children when they look resistant, agitated, disorganized, lazy or just plain shut-down, and ways we can support them in developing their capacity to more effectively manage life experience.
This event is free, and open to anyone that is a parent, educator, therapist, works with children, or wishes to learn more about how we can better support children. All are welcome. Kids too!
