“Building Resilience in our Children”

Does your child confuse, frustrate, or puzzle you?  Do you feel lacking in your capacity as a parent (or educator)?  Join the club!  As they say, there is no handbook for parenting.

But there is a way to better understand and support our children.  We can learn about the brain/body process involved in dealing with life experience, and how children are often ill-equipped to manage the expectations and stressors of their environment.  By learning basic brain science, we can get a better sense of what’s happening for our children when they look resistant, agitated, disorganized, lazy or just plain shut-down.  This educational and experiential class is designed to support us, as parents and educators, as we support our children in developing their capacity to more effectively manage life experience.
